We are weekend adventurers, and even when we take it easy, we explore. San Diego isn't a place we go to very often, infact, this was the first time I've been there since I first visited California in 2011. The best part of random day adventures is that you really don't have any expectations on what the day will be like, so you'll never be disappointed. After yelping things to do on the drive down we decided to go to Balboa Park. My phone got us lost twice, and when we got there we still didn't know what to expect. So we did what we do best, explored the art museums and sciene museums. Balboa Park is very visually stricking, but there is also so much to do that it would take you a few days to do it. This includes the San Diego Zoo. My favorite part of the trip was seeing people performing on their own on the side walks. They weren't just playing silly music, they were playing violins, classical pianos beautiful, sweet music. I saw couples laying in the grass and sitting on the benches just soaking up the sun and taking the music in. It's very rare to see people sitting and taking the day in one second at a time these days. Appreciating each other, time, and the blessings around them.
It was nice having a silly day of bonding like old times.
